Yesterday, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with His Excellency Mohamed bin Hassan Alsuwaidi, the Minister of Investment of the United Arab Emirates. Secretary Raimondo discussed shared investment priorities and opportunities to expand commercial and investment ties between the United States and the United Arab Emirates. She also congratulated the Minister on recent developments in U.S.-UAE commercial collaboration to advance the clean energy transition, which included an announcement from Masdar on its stake in the U.S. renewable energy producer Terra-Gen.
